Ocean County Medicare FAQs
Does it cost anything to use a Medicare broker? No. Brokers are paid by the insurance carriers, and your premium is the same as if you enrolled directly.
Do you meet in person? Yes. We meet in your home anywhere in Ocean County, or by phone or Zoom, whichever is easiest for you.
What are your hours? Monday through Saturday, 9am to 8pm.
Can I change my plan this fall? Yes. During Annual Enrollment, Oct 15–Dec 7, you can change Medicare Advantage or drug coverage. Changes take effect Jan 1.
Where can I get free government counseling? The Ocean County Office of Senior Services runs the SHIP program (1-800-668-4899). You can also call 1-800-MEDICARE.
